Award: Lower Austrian Wood Construction Prize 2019 for Wibeba Administration in Wieselburg
Mai 16, 2019
On 15 May, the 17th Lower Austrian Wood Construction Prize was awarded in Wieselburg. From 72 submissions, the eight-member expert jury honoured our Wibeba administration building with the 1st place in the category “utility buildings”. Project manager Rainer Beer accepted the award together with the Wibeba management. We are very happy!
The aim of the Lower Austrian Wood Construction Prize is to promote and recognise special achievements in wood construction as a contribution to building culture. The award-winning timber buildings are intended to provide incentives for new timber architecture and promote the increased use of wood as a raw material. Councillor Martin Eichtinger emphasizes: “The timber construction prize presents projects where clients, planners and timber construction companies have shown courage to create something new, attractive and sustainable.
