Lecture: 16.09.2021, Heinze ArchitekTOUR, Stuttgart

READY TO FUTURE is the motto of this year’s Heinze ArchitekTOUR, which will take place from 31 August to 23 September in Cologne, Hamburg, Dresden, Berlin, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Vienna and Munich.

Globalisation and digitalisation on the one hand, climate and demographic change on the other, require an overhaul and rethinking (in) the construction industry. Also and above all, the pandemic situation in 2020/2021 reveals diverse challenges in the most varied areas of life and work. How and where will we live, work – in other words, live? How do we deal with the increasingly scarce and thus more cost-intensive building materials? Flexibility and inventiveness are needed to turn the crisis into an opportunity.
Under the title “Faster, flatter, further … sports buildings in wood”, Much Untertrifaller will be presenting the TUM Campus in the Munich Olympic Park, one of Europe’s largest timber construction sites, whose first construction phase we have just completed.
