2008 Dietrich | Untertrifaller Architekten – Buildings and Projects since 2000

“Dietrich | Untertrifaller’s architecture is committed to the site, the landscape, the village or the city and the existing fabric. The duo strives for quality in concepts, the architectural style and the design of details to ensure precision in scale and proportions. The broad range of successfully completed construction projects suited for daily use ranges from the Festspielhaus Bregenz to commercial and office buildings, as well as housing estates, singlefamily
houses and small-scale projects such as cafés. They pioneered the first school building in Vorarlberg that complies with passive-house guidelines. They prefer locally sourced wood, while they employ materials such as reinforced concrete, steel, aluminum, copper, glass, stone and fiber cement for their buildings in an equally skilled manner” describes Walter Zschokke our architecture.
In her essay at the end of the book, Dominique Gauzin-Müller analyses the sustainability of our buildings and concludes that our office has been consistently committed to Green Building since its foundation. “Projects such as the school building in Klaus and the passive houses on Mühlweg have paved the way toward a more sustainable future.”
