Power Plants Vorarlberg, Langenegg (AT)

The power plant Langenegg is the largest power plant of VKW and was first put into operation in 1979. In combination with the planned thermal renovation, the portal area of the cavern power plant was upgraded to and converted into the base for ‘Kraftwerke Bregenzerwald’. Essentially, the office and social rooms, workshops, operating and technical rooms in the company building were adapted or rebuilt according to future requirements.
The building is designed for 20 employees and serves as the management headquarter of the power plant operation in the Bregenz Forest. The workshops in the entrance level are used exclusively for repair work and not as full-time workplaces. This essentially applies to the office workplaces on the upper floor too. The new facade is covered in Alucobond.
