Study Seequartier – Train Station & Hotel, Bregenz (AT)

The 20,000 m² area of the existing railway station will give way for the so-called Seequartier, a trend-setting combination of apartments, offices, shops and public transport, connecting city center and suburb. We have developed a study on how the area around the station could be designed.

A new train station will form the heart of the Seequartier with a terminal for public transport. The ‘lake clasp’, an overpass to Lake Constance, will remain. The bus station is located between the planned high-rise, the train station and the L190. A new square is designed as a ‘shared place’ for buses and pedestrians alike.
