See.Statt, Friedrichshafen (DE)

This building was designed by Dietrich | Untertrifaller on the site of the old sorting office of the train station and it is part of a complex of three office, residential and business buildings that complete this new mixed city area called See.Statt. The project includes approximately 2.500 m² of offices on four floors and 500 m² of commercial Areas on the ground floor.
The spaces were designed around a central atrium bringing natural light to the circulation and also indirectly to the offices they serve. The workspaces can be modulated according to multiple configurations: open space, partitioned individual offices or conference rooms. The project is characterized by its monumental external aspect, with its brick covered mineral facades, using a traditional local material in a contemporary way. The openings are wide and generous for a maximum light contribution and guaranteeing a pleasant work environment.
