Bernrain Ost, Kreuzlingen (CH)

On the site of the former power plant of the canton of Thurgau in Kreuzlingen, a residential complex consisting of six buildings with 83 apartments and an underground car park will be built. Compact layouts allow apartment types with a minimum of two orientations. Each apartment hosts spacious balconies or gardens at the building corners. Through the optimized internal access, supplied with daylight via a skylight, the multi-story apartment building can be carried out as an economic “four-flats-per-floor” type. The efficient arrangement of the core favors an optimal technical infrastructure and additionally allows bathrooms with natural light.
