Nominated: DAM Prize for Architecture 2022

We are very delighted that our Haus R in Albstadt (DE) has been nominated for the DAM Prize for Architecture 2022!

The DAM Prize recognises outstanding buildings in Germany every year since 2007. Since 2017, the prize has been awarded by the Deutsches Architekturmuseum (DAM) in close collaboration with JUNG as a cooperation partner. In a staggered jury process, around 100 buildings are initially nominated – regardless of building typology, size or construction sum. In a first jury session, projects will be selected for the shortlist. The jury then selects and tours the finalist projects to choose a prize winner.

The database shows all the nominations, the shortlist, the finalists and the winners of the award and thus offers a profound overview of the building scene in Germany. All nominated buildings are also presented in the Architectural Guide to Germany by DOM publishers / Berlin every autumn to coincide with the Frankfurt Book Fair. The announcement of the winner, the public award ceremony and the opening of the exhibition always take place at the DAM at the end of January. The German Architecture Yearbook is also published on this occasion with detailed reviews of the buildings on the shortlist and the award winner.
