BRISE Vienna – Digital construction submission in the final test phase

The City of Vienna’s digital lighthouse project BRISE-Vienna is being tested on 13 real building projects. We are delighted to have been selected for this interesting and important topic with our “Village Mitte” project. In this worlwide first BIM-based approval process, the application documents for a building permit will be submitted and reviewed digitally. The aim of the project is to digitalise building authority processes and thus make them faster and simpler.

BRISE-Vienna is an EU-funded research and development project, implemented by the City of Vienna together with the Vienna University of Technology, the planning office ODE, the Chamber of Civil Engineers for Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland and WH-Media until February 2023.

At the invitation of Vice Mayor and City Councillor for Housing Kathrin Gaal, the project partners met at Vienna City Hall. Maria Megina presented our project and our agile working processes.
